Appearance

A white to greyish- white or yellowish-white, fine crystalline powder or fine crystals, needles or elongated plates Slightly soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol and in propylene glycol. Its alcohol solution is dextrorotatory and its ethyl acetate solution is levorotatory.
